New Portfolio Piece

I changed the portfolio piece I was originally supposed to do. I decided I want to make the interior of the library since I got some ideas about the building and how should they look inside.
I managed to make some models for the library, and the end result will be updated later this week.

Here are most of the models:

Originally I wanted to do something like a moondial clock (from sundial) with the phases of the moon, but it struck me that it would me usable indoors, and since it was fun making the bottom part I wanted to make a use of it, and still wanted to have a clock in the library but somewhat strange, so I came with the idea to make a sand clock. (once the sand ends it has to be turned manually)

Just a normal bookshelf since I wanted to make something like a balance, or so to say not to have every furniture crooked in order the crooked ones to stand a bit out.

Inspired by a metal bookshelf found in tumblr unfortunately I lost the original image. The texture for those are going to be stone instead of metal

One of things I really wanted to model was a globe, one of the reasons is because I can come up with a world to put on.

Those are supposed to be the fancy tables in the library....or just the plain round ones.

Drills, sketches and unfinished drawings

Those are the drills from the last two weeks we had to do in class.
I wanted to make the chibi girl half realistic so I used images of textures, the rest was just merging, playing with the levels, the layer options and erasing. Originally I made a realistic eye too but decided to remove it since she turned out to look like a psychotic lunatic.

Sketches of buildings

 some sort of magic shop.

The bookstore which from top view would look like an half opened book:

Old drawings, some of which are not finished

Originally this was supposed to be a marionette holding her eye
in her hands.

Some sort of elf.

This need to be colored. It was an inspired by the artist Caitlin Hackett a year ago when I first discovered her art. My idea was to create some sort of forest spirit/guardian.

This was a redrawing of a phoenix I forgot the name of the original artist,
but I remember finding her on Deviant Art. My first attempt to use colors and didn't turn out well....

First attempt to draw a forest and second to use colors. For the coloring
I used water pencils and watercolor paint. It is finished though it doesn't
really seem like that. I am not good with coloring. >^<
